Audition Times:
Saturday August 28th at the studio! 
Ages 6 and under 11:00-11:45 a.m.
Ages 7-11 11:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Ages 12+ 1:00-2:30 p.m.
Student Thrivers 2:30-3:30 p.m.



 

Company weekly requirements: 
In addition to required technique classes; dancers will be required to attend 3+ hours of rehearsal per week based on the number of routines they are in. Company dancers typically are in a minimum of 4 routines pre company dancers are in no more than 3 routines. 
*No company dancer will be put in more than 10 company routines per season.*
Dancers in company are typically put in small groups, duets, and/or trios. 
Company dancers also have the option to audition for a solo. Solos also have an additional one time choreography fee and the highest competition entry fee averaging between $95 and $125 varying by competition.
Dancers can also audition for a second solo, but no dancer will be given more than 2 per competition season. This is due to competitions typically not allowing the same dancer to compete more than 2 solo entries.Dancers wishing to compete solo(s) must also be part of at least 3 team routines no dancer will only be given a solo for the competition season. 
Company dancers are under a commitment contract for the entire season (September-June).

Team Captains:
Dancers interested in being a team captain must be 10 years old or older. Team captains work directly with Mx. Lain and help organize team outings and fundraisers. Team captains must be very organized, have good communication skills, honest, responsible, and a good role model for younger dancers. There will be 2-4 team captains each season. Team captains will rotate in hosting team moving nights each month and come together with Mx. Lain to plan team bonding outings, fundraisers, and general support for their fellow dancers!

Student Thrivers:
Student Thrivers are dancers who are 12 years old or older. This is a new addition to company designed as chance for dancers to work on student choreography and student teaching skills. Dancers will be responsible for choreographing their own routine and organizing a rehearsal time that works for all the dancers in their routine. They will also be responsible for find their own costumes and editing their own music. Dancers must have their costumes picked out and music edited and turned in to Mx. Lain by October 1st. Student Thrivers will see their routines in a virtual student choreography competition and one in person competition at the end of Spring if scheduling allows we will also feature student choreography in the annual recital!
