Unique Dance Training With a New Approach. Come Thrive With Us!

Rise & Thrive Dance Company is directed by Lain Avery; a once professional dancer and long term competitive dance instructor. RTDC was founded with the intent to create a new approach to traditional studio classes for dancers seeking more opportunity and growth. Team members not only rehearse, but train together creating a focused team environment. Dancers train in all styles (ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, with optional styles tap and acro), in addition to taking master classes in different styles such as hula hoop dance, African, and more.

Dancers perform in annual performances as well as compete throughout the competitive season and attend World Dance Championship in New Jersey. Dancers also attend workshops throughout the area and have the chance to Dance at Disney and on Broadway in NY. 

In addition to dance, dancers are offered classes in stage management and show production, make up artistry, audition and interview prep and much more. The goal with offering these classes in addition to traditional dance classes is to give dancers a more well rounded understanding of performing arts as a professional industry and provide them skills they can take with them into their professional adult lives.

Using these skills dancers are also offered an opportunity to perform and assist in producing annual dance productions such as "The Nutcracker" or "Alice In Wonderland." Doing this allows dancers not only another performance opportunity, but a chance to voice their desires and develop their professional management skills.
